Private lessons are technically focused and progressive, with each session building on warm-up drills and prior skills. Lessons emphasize the “why” and “how” behind each exercise and integrate the principles of the American Forward Riding system. Units progress over recurring lessons, providing structure, continuity, and a deeper understanding for both horse and rider.

Private Lessons

Outside perspectives are used intentionally to address specific topics, refine skills, and support our program philosophy. These sessions offer mounted and unmounted learning in areas such as course development, dressage and flatwork, first aid and basic medical skills, equipment use, and equitation theory.

Rotating Clinicians

Training rides focus on clear, correct development of each horse. Sessions include pre/post-ride care, groundwork that progresses into undersaddle work, and an emphasis on fitness through consistent, positive repetition. Concepts are taught by making the correct answer easy and rewarding, rather than correcting mistakes through reprimand, supporting confidence and long-term soundness.
